boks ag tractor donation
On October 29, 2020, Edward Bok Academy South and their agriculture department welcomed Mr. David McKeeman and Mr. Robby McKeeman to our campus. Mr. David McKeeman and Mr. Robby McKeeman are owners of Grove Equipment Services located in Bartow and Plant City, Florida. They recently have donated a Massey Ferguson sub-compact tractor to the Edward Bok Academy South Agriculture Department. Mrs. Emilyn Sharpless, Bok Academy South Agriculture Teacher and FFA advisor, reached out to Mr. Robby McKeeman in hopes of getting a small donation to help in the rebuilding of their agriculture program at Bok Academy South and was surprised with the donation of a lease tractor agreement. With the lease donation Bok Academy Ag Department will receive a new tractor every 1 to 2 years. The tractor donated today is valued at $24,500.00 and it will be a great help to the Bok Academy Agriculture Department. The McKeeman family and Grove Equipment have been long time supporters of FFA programs and Agriculture departments in the local area and within the Florida FFA Association. Edward Bok Academy South Agriculture Department and FFA Chapter are excited about the new partnership and future between the two.
